If you want to unlock additional perks for gear and strengthen your characters' items, you will need a large amount of all the resources. Fortunately, resources in Marvel's Avengers can be obtained in various ways - we described them all below.
- Resources dropped by opponents
- Breaking containers with resources
- Opening chests
- Completing missions
- Challenge Card
- Disassembling gear
Resources dropped by opponents
When you fight opponents, there is a chance that they will drop a certain resource after death. Each resource has a specific color and, for example, common Parts will glow white, Nanite is purple, and Plasma is yellow.
Breaking containers with resources
Some of the resources available in Marvel's Avengers, such as Parts, Nanite, Nanotube, Catalyst, Plasma, can be acquired by destroying special containers in which they are stored or transported to AIM facilities.
Opening chests
Opening different types of chests is another way to acquire valuable resources in Marvel's Avengers. Look for the chests while exploring the maps, and listen to Jarvis' advice about their location. Inside them, you can find common, rare and even exotic resources: Parts, Catalysts, Uru, Vault.
Completing missions
You can earn rewards for completing certain missions in Marvel's Avengers, which may include rare and even exotic resources such as Catalyst, Uru, and even DNA Keys.
Challenge Card
The Hero Challenge Card is a great way to acquire a large number of additional resources - common, rare and exotic. Reaching specific Challenge Card levels will give you the following rewards:
- Level 2 - rare resource pack;
- Level 5 - resource pack;
- Level 10 - Upgrade Module pack;
- Level 18 - rare resource pack;
- Level 20 - Upgrade Module pack;
- Level 22 - rare resource pack;
- Level 31 - Upgrade Module pack;
- Level 37 - exotic resource pack.
Disassembling gear
Disassembling unnecessary items is a great way to get Upgrade Modules and exotic Polychoron. Since your hero's equipment capacity is limited, it is worth dismantling items that have a much lower Power level to make space for better gear.
