This chapter of the guide to Marvel's Avengers presents several ways that will significantly speed up the process of gaining experience and unlocking the characters' skills.

In Marvel's Avengers, players must earn experience points to gain levels and unlock new skills of their Super Heroes. If you want to play multiple characters featured in Marvel's Avengers and level them up fast, you should know how to get experience points and how to speed up this process.

Experience points for beating opponents

The easiest way to gain experience points in Marvel's Avengers is simply to defeat the opponents you encounter on your way (both during field missions and in the HARM room). This can be seen as a constant increment of XP, as it does not require the player to perform any additional activities, as in completing mission objectives - you just fight and the experience goes up.

Sometimes you will receive information from Jarvis that an elite AIM division is near your current position. It is worth taking some time and going to the indicated place - eliminating this special squad will grant you a lot of extra experience points.

Experience points from story missions

Before you start doing matchmaking missions in multiplayer mode and grinding XP, you should first complete all story missions for which you will gain really a lot of experience points. If you are a novice player, do not choose a difficulty level above normal - the opponents will be more difficult, which will significantly lengthen the leveling up process.

Multiplayer - experience points from main and side missions

Multiplayer missions with random players or with a team of Avengers led by AI are the main way of gaining experience points in Marvel's Avengers. Before you proceed to the main mission objective, make sure that you have completed all side missions - you don't want to miss the chance to gain additional experience points and valuable items.

Activating the Tactical Mode displays the main objective (marked with a red frame on the screen above) and all side objectives (green frame). In most cases, moving to the main mission objective will block your access to the secondary mission. This means you have to do things the opposite way: complete the secondary mission first and then go to the main mission objective.
