Mist Raven | Prosthetic Tools in Sekiro Shadows Die Twice Sekiro guide, walkthrough
Last update: 22 March 2019
This page in our guide to Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice contains information on Mist Raven, one of the prosthetic tools in the game. Read this page to learn where you can find this tool and what are its functions.
How to unlock Mist Raven?
The crafting material for Mist Raven is in Hirata Estate. This item is guarded by a challenging opponent - this enemy can be too strong for an inexperienced hero. If you have problems with defeating him, go back here after you level up your vitality, posture and attack strength.
Reach the secret location in the jungle. Start at Bamboo Thicket Slope Sculptor's Idol. Go left and use the grappling hook on the place presented in the picture. Climb the upper ledge and then jump into the river.
Swim under the bridge and grab the branch behind it (picture 1). Reach the small ledge and start looking for the bamboos presented in picture 2. Attack them to open a passage. You reach a well - jump from one wall to another to get out of it.
Reach the house on the hill (see the picture above). The masked enemy is standing on its rooftop. He will attack you when you get close to the building.
The description of the fight with the purple enemy is in the Bosses section. This enemy uses fast attacks and powerful unblockable kicks. Use, e.g. Shinobi Firecracker to make this fight easier.
Open the cabin's door to reveal a treasure chest. Inside, you will find Mist Raven's Feathers.
Go back to Dilapidated Temple and meet with the Sculptor. Go to the tool crafting menu and select Mist Raven. You don't have to pay anything for this item.
Place Mist Raven in one of the slots for your prosthetic tool. Press Triangle / Y to switch between active tools.
Using the Mist Raven
Mist Raven is an unusual prosthetic tool - it has no offensive capabilities. This item is for defensive purposes. Press the prosthetic tool button to disappear for a brief moment after you get attacked. This can save your life during fights with powerful enemies. Tilt the analog stick to choose where you want to move (preferably to the left, to the right, or backward).
This tool has a limited number of uses - you need to spend 2 Spirit Emblems every time you disappear. Leave this tool for challenging opponents, e.g. when you want to survive after a powerful attack.
