How to unlock: Add Maneha to your team (M1,3).

In order to complete the quest, make sure that Maneha is in your team.

This quest will be added to your journal automatically as soon as you add Maneha, a barbarian encountered in Stalwart Village (M1,3), to your team. Talk to her and you will learn that she is looking for a place called The Abbey of the Fallen Moon. You will have to help her to find it. However, you will be able to complete this quest once you finish The Iron Flail.

Maneha will begin the conversation as soon as you reach the Salt Well.

Your main objective will be to reach The Salt Well. You will find it in Halls of Presence, in the northeast part of the location (M9,7). Unfortunately, the door is locked (lock at level 14), so you need to get the right key. You can obtain it from High Abbot Kaoto (M9,4) if you pass the recitation ritual. You can read more about it in The Rising Tide. As soon as you get inside and approach the well, Maneha will start a conversation.

Before approaching the well, decide whether you want Maneha to develop her Resolve or Dexterity.
  • You can convince Maneha to get into the water. In a couple of seconds the water will turn red and a pair of tentacles will take her underwater (regardless of your behavior). She will return after a while, but she won't remember a thing. She will receive Clean Conscience which will grant her +2 Dexterity.
  • If you convince her not to go into the water, you will receive experience points, and Maneha will receive Satisfied Mind, which will grant her +2 Resolve.
