Sacrificial Bloodlines

Talk to anamfath Simoc at the Hall of Warriors (M37,4). He asks you to take an Orlan girl from one of the houses in Hearthsong and escort her to Keeper Wrdha to perform a ritual and sacrifice the kid. While leaving the Hall of Warriors, you will be accosted by Lliras -Simoc's son. He offers you an alternative solution to the problem, i.e. poisoning his father, which will end his plans for the bloody ritual.

If you want to help Simoc, you need to take the child from the cradle

• If you prefer to follow Simoc's plan, go to Hearthsong and enter the Glafanthan Home (M36,3). Take the child from the cradle and leave. Here, you will be halted by Lliras and his men, where you will have to fight a quite easy fight. After you win, return to Elms' Reach and enter the Blood Lands cave. Here, you need to meet with Keeper Wrdha (M38,2). Wait for her to prepare the essence potion and take it back to Simoc.
• If you want to complete the quest Lliras's way, exit the Hall of Warriors and go to The Golden Grove (M37,5). Find Bledha and ask her to prepare a poison (the choice is yours). Take it back to Simoc. Unfortunately, it is not that easy to outwit the man, because you need to display strong Persuasion, Resolution (level 21) or Perception (level 19), twice, for that. After that, meet with Lliras.

Note - If you opted for the plan to poison Simoc, make sure that your character's statistics are high enough because, if you fail to convince Simoc, a tough fight against him and his men will ensue.

Alternative solution:

You can try to poison Simoc even if you have earlier abducted the child and murdered Lliras. In such a situation, the clan loses both its leader and the rightful successor.
