Power-ups in Doom Eternal offer great help in winning battles or in survival, but their effect is time-limited. You can find them in selected arenas where big battles take place. They are shaped like multicolored energy balls.

Many powerups, unfortunately, are well camouflaged - they can be, for example, suspended high above the arena (help yourself to use launchers) or hidden behind destructible walls.

After you get the power-up, the edges of the screen will change their color to suggest the gained effect - Doom Eternal: Power-ups - Basics - Doom Eternal Guide

After you get the power-up, the edges of the screen will change their color to suggest the gained effect. You can increase the power-Up time by killing demons. Unfortunately, another one will not appear in place of the used power-up. So you should make the best use of the bonuses offered by each powerup.

There are three main types of bonuses in Doom Eternal:

  1. Purple power-ups Onslaught - they allow you to deal Quad Damage with weapons. Use this effect to attack the most powerful demons.
  2. Yellow Overdrive powerups - they allow you to move much faster and guarantee an infinite amount of ammunition. Choose a good weapon from the inventory and shoot without precise aiming.
  3. Red Berserk power-ups - they allow you to go berserk. After going berserk, the protagonist can tear demons apart with his bare hands. Use this effect to kill the most powerful monsters.
