On this page of our guide to Doom Eternal you will find valuable tips for clumsy people who have some problems with the game's difficulty or who simply like to cheat a bit and have some fun. We explain how to unlock cheat codes in Doom Eternal. We have also prepared a list of cheats with information on what they do and where to find them.

In order to use cheat codes you will need floppy disks, which are one of the collectibles available in the game. The floppy disk example is shown in the picture above. You can find information about where to find such items on the following text and the Secrets page (in the world atlas).

Each floppy disk unlocks a different cheat code, for example, infinite number of lives, immortality or infinite amount of ammunition.

In order to use cheat codes, you must return to the Fortress of Doom, which is the hub of the game visited in between the main missions. Find the mission terminal in the fortress (Mission Select).

You can activate all available cheats or only selected ones. There are 14 floppy disks with different cheats to be found in the game world. The list of all available floppy disks and cheats in Doom Eternal can be found below.

Infinite lives

Infinite lives mean that you will never die and see the Game Over screen.

You can find this floppy disk in mission 1.

IDDQD

Activates immortality. The hero's armor becomes indestructible - you won't lose any armor points.

You can find this floppy disk in mission 3.

Instant stagger mode

This cheat makes demons enter instant stagger. It happens after a melee attack, shooting from a weapon or using one of the hero's skills. This cheat doesn't work on bosses.

You can find this floppy disk in mission 11.

All runes

You get access to all 9 runes.

You can find this floppy disk in the Fortress Of Doom.

Infinite ammo

You get unlimited ammunition supplies for all firearms. This also works on the BFG 9000 - you will be able to fire it any number of times.

IDKFA

You can unlock access to all weapon upgrades (complete equipment) and all weapon masteries.

You can find this floppy disk in mission 6.

Onslaught

You can turn on the "Onslaught" power-up and have it active throughout the mission. In this mode, the hero inflicts quadruple damage.

You can find this floppy disk in mission 7.

Silver bullet

You can stun demons easier and kill them with a single hit.

You can find this floppy disk in mission 4.

Fully upgraded Praetor Suit

You can unlock access to all passive upgrades of your armor.

You can find this floppy disk in the Fortress Of Doom.

Overdrive

You can turn on the "Overdrive" power-up and have it active throughout the mission. In this mode, the hero moves faster and has unlimited ammo.

You can find this floppy disk in mission 9.

Famine mode

This is the only cheat that makes the game more challenging - the demons don't drop any loot (health, armor, or ammunition). Completing any mission with this cheat enabled is required to unlock the Master of Fasting trophy/achievement.

You can find this floppy disk in mission 10.

Party mode

This is an easter-egg, not a cheat that makes the game easier. Defeated demons can turn into confetti.

You can find this floppy disk in mission 11.

Berserk

You can turn on the "Berserk" power-up and have it active throughout the mission. In this mode, the hero rips and tears demons.

You can find this floppy disk in mission 12.

QuakeCon Mode

This is an easter-egg, not a cheat that makes the game easier. An unseen audience cheers you throughout a mission.

You can get this floppy disk by making progress in the campaign. In our case, the cheat was unlocked the moment we got They're ALL My Favorite trophy.
