On this page of the Deathloop game guide, you will find tips and information on how to find firearm ammo - we have described the 2 main methods. In addition, we answer whether you can increase your ammo carrying capacity to keep using the same weapon for a longer period of time.
To start with, it's important to know that in the game Deathloop, several types of weapons are available (e.g. pistols, shotguns, nail guns), which might require different types of ammunition. This can be viewed as:
- a disadvantage - you might end up being unable to use your favourite weapon more quickly
- an advantage - you can bring different weapons with you on missions (up to 3), so when you've used up your current weapon's ammo, you'll have the option to quickly switch to another weapon to continue the fight.
Ammunition is mainly found as loot. Try to search all the locations you visit to restock your ammunition supplies on an ongoing basis.
You can also restock on ammunition by using special vending machines (Munitions Station). These have two major advantages:
- using the Munitions Station is free- you don't have to pay for ammo,
- The Munitions Station dispenses several common types of ammunition, allowing you to restock multiple ammo types at once.
Note - if you ever completely run out of ammo, don't forget that you can use a machete and offensive superpowers (although they in turn deplete your power bar).
If you are constantly running low on ammo, you may be able to solve this problem if you find the Deep Pockets trinket. It significantly increases your ammo carrying capacity, but you need to place it in one of your active slots.
