Warzone: Weapon Ranking - general information Warzone guide, tips
Last update: 15 March 2021
In this chapter of our Call of Duty Warzone game guide, we have explained where you can look for weapons with the best modifications. Also, we have prepared a glossary of key words that appear in the discussion concerning the ranking of the best weapons in Warzone.
In Verdansk, you can find weapons of a different rarity - Ordinary (white), Common (green), Rare (blue), Epic (purple) or Legendary (orange). Ordinary weapons do not have any mods, while Legendary weapons will have as many as five. It is important to know which weapons are the best, which is why we have prepared a special list of weapons available in Call of Duty Warzone, divided into tiers, with S being the best class of weapons and D the worst. When evaluating weapons, we've checked their usefulness on the battlefield and configurations in which they appear on Verdansk. Weapon statistics were also taken into account, such as damage caused, rate of fire, recoil, and magazine capacity.
Where to look for customized weapons?
In Verdansk, weapons can be found literally everywhere - on the ground, in forests, on the roofs of buildings, inside houses, sheds or shops. Some of them lie in the open, while others are hidden inside crates that make a distinctive buzzing sound that makes them easier to locate.
To find an Epic or Legendary weapon in Call of Duty Warzone, you first need to locate a special crate. The colour of such crates is different - they are orange or purple. Inside them you will usually find two weapons (Legendary or Epic) with 4 or 5 modifications. Sometimes, you can find gas masks or other useful tactical equipment.
Glossary
This chapter lists various terms or abbreviations which meaning can be somewhat complicated - especially for novice players. For this reason, we have prepared a glossary that will make it easier to read gun statistics.
- RPM (Rounds per Minute) - determines the rate of fire of a weapon, that is, the number of rounds it is able to fire in one minute. The higher the value of this ratio the better because it translates into the overall number of points of damage;
- DPS (Damage Per Second) - determines the amount of damage inflicted by a weapon during one second;
- ADS (Aim Down Sight) - the time it takes for the character to draw the weapon to his face after pressing the zoom button, enabling the player to use the attached scope or sight. The lower the value of this ratio the better.
