In Call of Duty Warzone you will also find high-end sniper weapons - heavy and light. Sniper rifles equipped with an additional scope (even with thermal optics) are best used in medium and long distance combat. When targeting, it is best to aim at the head, but chest shots can also be equally effective.

1. Using a sniper weapon requires patience and self-control. Remember that when the target is still moving, you have to aim slightly ahead of it to make the bullet hit the target;
2. At medium and long distances use the scope's zoom;
3. Zoom feature available in sniper weapons is great for searching the terrain and finding a potential target - especially if you use thermal optics;
4. In close-ranged combat, you can try to aim blindly or quickly switch to your secondary weapon.

When fighting over medium or long distances you can take a convenient sniper position (for example on the roof of the building) and camp there until the target comes into view. When you find yourself in a situation where the opponent is close to your character, then it's best to use a secondary weapon.

HDR is the best sniper rifle in Call of Duty Warzone

HDR is without doubt the best sniper rifle available in Call of Duty Warzone. By using this weapon, you can fire one accurate shot at enemy's head to eliminate him from a great distance. What's more, HDR has good accuracy. Remember that if you decide to use a sniper rifle, you must take the right position - preferably on the roof of a building or top of a hill.

Recommended weapon modifications for HDR

We recommend the following modifications for HDR sniper rifle:

1. Scout Combat Optic - zooms the view by 3.25x and doesn't cause any flashing glare which makes you harder to spot by enemies;
2. Merc Thermal Optic - due to thermal optics you will be able to see more targets. Note! You won't be able to see enemy targets which have the Cold-Blooded perk;
3. FTAC Stalker-Scout - increases aiming speed so you can shoot faster;
4. Focus - increases gun control.

MK2 Carbine is the best lightweight sniper rifle in Call of Duty Warzone

MK2 Carbine is a weaker sniper rifle than HDR, but it has a higher fire rate and it is much easier to hit the target when you're using it. By using this weapon you can eliminate the target with only one bullet - but it has to be a headshot.

Recommended weapon modifications for MK2 Carabine

We recommend the following mods for MK2 Carabine:

1. Monolithic Suppressor - increases weapon range and prevents the red marker from appearing on the mini map during shooting;
2. FSS 20.0 Barrel - increases gun control;
3. Thermal Hybrid - due to thermal optics, you will be able to spot more targets;
4. Stippled Grip Tape - you lose a bit of the weapon's stability, but you gain on the ADS.
