Warzone: Error codes, bugs and technical problems - solutions Warzone guide, tips

Last update: 14 March 2021

In this chapter of our Call of Duty Warzone game guide, we have prepared information about the most common bugs in the game such as error code 8192, error code 262146, error code 263234, error code 6, error code DIVER, as well as solutions for other problems that may be encountered while trying to activate the game.

Unfortunately, bugs and errors in Call of Duty Warzone are quite common and can be caused by problems occurring on the server side or due to the player's hardware. The most common error codes in Warzone include error code 8192, error code 6 and error code DIVER. Fortunately, there are some tested solutions to all the problems mentioned above.

Error code 8192

Error code 8192 appears when the Call of Duty Warzone game servers are unable to correctly download user profile data, and without this data the game cannot be launched. Unfortunately, there is no special way to solve this problem, because it occurs on the side of the game servers - you have to be patient and wait for the servers to work properly again.

Error code 262146 and error code 263234

The error codes 262146 and 263234 appear when there is a connection problem with the Call of Duty Warzone servers. If you are struggling with these problems, you can try some tested solutions:

  1. Log out of your game account and log in again;
  2. Reboot your computer or console;
  3. Reboot your router or modem - sometimes it may be the fault of your hardware or ISP.

Error code 6 and error code DIVER

Error code 6 and error code DIVER are terribly annoying and appear when a user tries to run the Call of Duty Warzone. Unfortunately, Activision has not provided an official solution to these types of problems, but fortunately the community has come up with some own solutions:

  1. Update the drivers of your graphics card;
  2. Reboot your router or modem - sometimes it may be the fault of your hardware or ISP.
  3. Use the scan and fix the game files option, which is available in the Battle.net launcher options;
  4. As a last resort, you can try to uninstall the game and reinstall it.
