Welcome to Rapture (2) | Bioshock Walkthrough Bioshock guide, walkthrough
Last update: 05 February 2020
On this page of the BioShock game guide, you will find the second part of the Welcome to Rapture stage walkthrough. The hero must continue exploring the initial areas of the underwater city. This includes combat, which will be used to win the first firearm in the game - the pistol.
Go through the open passageway and continue through the corridor, making your way through the destroyed fragment of the plane along the way. When you find yourself in a room on the other side, eliminate another splicer. In this area, you will find a first aid kit and two EVE injections. Go through the next door and defeat another opponent. Go through the door and enter the semicircular Elevator. You will go to the next level.
05-Atlas will ask you to save his family, who can't get out of the part of the city called Neptune's Bounty. Keep going through the corridors.
06-in the pram you will find another weapon-The Pistol .
Note: each weapon supports several types of ammunition. To change the bullet type, press the [Shift] key.
07-go down the stairs to the lower floor of Kashmir. Here you will meet a new type of enemy: the Lead Splicer. They differ from those met so far as they use firearms and are a little tougher. For now, you should not use a revolver - still the best weapon will be the electro bolt and the wrench. Please note that if you use lightning on an enemy standing in the water, you deal increased damage to them (at this stage of the game, it always ends with their death).
You will find the first audio recording here. The main role of these recordings is to reveal the secrets of Rapture. Recording: "New Year's Eve Alone" - Diane McClintock. |
Go back upstairs and head to the toilets. Go to the ladies' room first.
08-recording: "Hole in the Bathroom Wall" - Steve Barker.
09-Behind the glass, we see a scene where the Big Daddy shows his capabilities. Remember for the future that as long as you don't attack a particular Daddy, he will remain neutral towards you.
Destroy the lock on the grate and continue walking through the corridors. When you go down the stairs, you will see three Splicers in the water-use the Electro Bolt to quickly get rid of them.
When you approach the passageway to Neptune's Bounty, a security alarm is triggered. Defeat the group of Splicers and go to the medical pavilion, as Atlas suggests. After a brief monologue by Andrew Ryan, Atlas will free you from the trap.
10-go through the airlock to the Medical Pavilion.
