Plasmids-description and maps in Bioshock Bioshock guide, walkthrough

Last update: 04 February 2020

In BioShock, plasmids are active skills and they can be compared to spells. On this page of the guide, you will find a summary of all available plasmids. You will learn about their functions and where they can be unlocked. In addition to the text part, there also are maps with locations of plasmids marked.

Introductory note

  1. The locations of plasmids that we have shown in the third column of the table are tabs to the corresponding chapters of the step-by-step guide, where they have been described in more detail (for example. Neptune's Bounty).
  2. Don't stop looking for a plasmid just once. You can get stronger versions of it that can enhance its properties or add completely new features.
  3. In cases where a particular plasmid can be purchased in the Gatherer's Garden, we include its first appearance in the list of available products. For gifts from Tenenbaum for saving the sisters, we assume that the player saved everyone from the beginning (that is, this is the earliest appearance of a particular tonic that we can achieve).
  4. Under the table with descriptions of plasmids, you will find maps with locations of plasmids marked. Use it if you have problems finding any of them.
