Player profile
At first you create your profile by selecting name, sex, company logo, photo (numerous to choose from), truck model and your company's name. You can also activate downloaded modifications. Then, decide about the control method (keyboard, mouse, or other controllers such as joypad or steering wheel) and the gearbox (described in "Steering" chapter).
Central selection
At the beginning of the game you must select your central - the city in which you will start the game. In that city you will find your first garage. In the future, as your company improves, you will buy new garages in other cities you visit. You will also improve the garages you have bought previously.
You must select the city for your central from 19 available cities in California or 9 cities in Nevada. The choice isn't very important. Of course, it will matter later in the game. The best option is to make your central in the center of the map as it will give you easier access to other nearby cities.
You can move the central of your company to another city anytime you want.
Later in the game, once you drive your truck deeper into the states, the previous choice of the central city will no longer matter. You will be modifying and repairing your truck in the cities you will visit on your way and you will start new contracts in the nearest companies. At that point the location of your central will no longer matter.
