Trophy type: silver

Note: This is a setting that prevents you from saving during the mission. Do not choose the highest difficulty with this mode. You can also have this feature enabled at lower levels.

How to unlock: Kill all Queens in the campaign.

Trophy type: gold

Comment: Alien Queens are some of the most powerful xenomorphs and bosses in the game. You must face the first Queen in Dead Hills and we described this fight in the Bosses chapter. You can find the nests of other Queens in subsequent missions. There are a total of 7 queens to defeat.

Cleaning Lethe, One Nest At A Time

How to unlock: Kill 100 xenomorphs during the campaign.

Trophy type: bronze

Comment: This is an easy achievement because it counts all variants of xenomorphs. You should obtain it in mission 1 or 2, so at an early stage of the campaign.

Come on, You Wanna Live Forever?

How to unlock: Advance a Sergeant to level 10.

Trophy type: bronze

Note: Take at least one marine of this class on missions so they can gain experience and advance.

El Riesgo Siempre Vive

How to unlock: Advance a Gunner to level 10.

Note: Try to develop marines from different classes steadily so that each of them has a chance to reach level 10. It is best to take a diverse squad on missions, in which each marine is of a different class.

Heavy Steps

How to unlock: Lure a Queen into a Mine.

Trophy type: bronze

Comment: You encounter the first Alien Queen in the Dead Hills mission - this place is actually a mine. Once you reach the Queen's lair, shoot her from a distance so she heads towards the unit. Then return to the main part of the mine, which you passed through on the way to the boss.

Trophy type: bronze

Comment: This trophy requires preparations and after fulfilling them, you can try to get it from mission 2 onward.

  1. In mission 1, defeat the Alien Queen and obtain the Xenotech blueprint and the Extraction Device.
  2. Upon returning to Otago, visit the Laboratory and pay for the research with Xenosamples.
  3. During subsequent deployments, choose the Extraction Device as equipment (requires 2 Xenosamples).
  4. Reach any location with the facehugger eggs.
  5. Let one of the facehuggers stick to the face of someone from the unit. Quickly choose the knocked down marine and the extraction option to save their life by getting rid of the facehugger. This will also unlock the achievement.

Flawless Victory

How to unlock: Keep all of your marines alive during a campaign.

Trophy type: gold

Note: You must definitely play with the active Permissive Save System. This will allow you to frequently create saves. In case of losing someone from the squad, you can load the last save and return to the last checkpoint.

Archivist

How to unlock: Gather all datapads.

Trophy type: silver

Comment: Datapads are one of the types of collectibles. You can check your progress in finding them, among others, before setting off on a given map. You have to find a total of 123 datapads. The game marks datapads on the map after revealing a specific location.

Caution - Some datapads are in locations where you have to run from xenomorphs. Get the collectibles in that room first, because later returning to it can be blocked. Make sure you have all the collectibles from missions 1-10 before you start mission 11. After completing it, the final 12th mission will immediately start (without the option to return to Otago).

Colonial Barrels

How to unlock: Kill an enemy by using an explosive barrel.

Trophy type: bronze

Comment: You can find many barrels starting from mission 2. Place the marines near the barrel and let the enemies spot you. Wait until one of the enemies approaches and shoot at the barrel. Slower targets are better for this trophy since they won't be fast enough to move away from the barrel.

How to unlock: Secure an unconscious marine.

Trophy type: bronze

Comment: Marine may lose consciousness after sustaining serious injuries and being on the brink of death. Pick up the unconscious unit member and return with them to the vehicle. Choose secure marine from the list. Once the deployment is over, that person will return to the Otago with the rest of the unit to receive treatment.

How to unlock: Destroy 4 eggs with one grenade or an RPG shot.

Right after entering the room with 4 eggs, activate the skill menu to prevent the facehuggers from hatching out of the eggs. Use Pulse Rifle's U1 Grenade Launcher or the RPG Launcher if you already have this special weapon.

Recouped Investment

How to unlock: Have one Sentry kill at least 10 aliens.

Trophy type: bronze

Comment: You can get the first sentries in mission 1. We recommend waiting until you have to face an infinite wave of xenomorphs. New monsters continue to arrive on the battlefield. Do not focus on accomplishing the next objectives of the mission, just let the sentry keep firing. After using up the ammunition, reload it manually if necessary.

Use The Bumper, That's What It's For

How to unlock: Make the ARC/APC run over an enemy.

You should get this trophy during a normal playthrough. Simply use the vehicles frequently to travel around the map. You can increase the chances of a collision by getting into the ARC/APC after the xenomorphs begin a massive onslaught.

This Was No Papercut

How to unlock: Save a marine from dying of Bleeding.

Trophy type: bronze

Comment: You can stop the bleeding by using a first aid kit or making a shelter and choosing the rest option.

Keep ‘Em Coming

How to unlock: Kill every Alien of a Massive Onslaught.

Trophy type: bronze

Comment: The recommended combat tactics are described on a separate page called How to repel a massive onslaught?.

Try to do that with the first onslaught as the level of aggression increases and during the first few missions of the campaign since the elite xenomorphs will not yet appear in the attacks.

Snatched Out

How to unlock: Prevent a marine from being Abducted.

Trophy type: bronze

Comment: Your squad member may be randomly kidnapped by a xenomorph during battles. Order the remaining marines to attack that monster. You can also use offensive skills to have an easier time rescuing the kidnapped team member.

The True Experience

How to unlock: In any mission, complete at least one objective with only one marine in the squad.

Trophy type: bronze

Comment: Your squad must consist only of 1 marine. You can do that, for example, after the other members of the team have died. Try in the initial missions (prologue doesn't count) and with short and easy objectives.

The Shrink Hates Me

How to unlock: Remove a Trait from a marine.

Trophy type: bronze

Comment: You will unlock the psychiatric ward in the base after completing mission 2. Send any marine ho have gained some trait during the mission there.

Call Me Snake

How to unlock: Kill an enemy before they detect the squad.

Trophy type: bronze

Comment: You should get it during a normal playthrough. An easy way to get the trophy is after you unlock the sniper rifle. Also remember that marines can hide behind obstacles and wait in a crouched position for the enemies to approach.

Perfect Enhancements

How to unlock: During a campaign, unlock every Xeno Tech.

Trophy type: gold

Comment: Xenotech is one of the types of collectibles in the game. We have compiled the places for finding research project plans in the chapter Secrets and collectibles chapter. There are a total of 10 Xenotechs and each of them has to be invented in the Laboratory by spending Xenosamples received from defeated xenomorphs.

Trophy type: bronze

Comment: You can unlock new weapons in the workshop on board the USS Otago. They have some requirements:

  1. advancing marines to the required level;
  2. having an appropriate number of materials - they can be found in missions as loot.

Purchase all weapons before mission 11, because once it starts, you won't return to Otago.

People Person

How to unlock: During a campaign, secure 5 survivors.

Trophy type: silver

Comment: Survivors can be found during missions when completing main and optional objectives. They can be, for example, in Alien cocoons, hideouts, or kept as hostages of cultists. You need to:

  1. free the survivor;
  2. order the survivor to follow the squad;
  3. head for the transportation vehicle while keeping the survivors alive;
  4. approach the vehicle and choose the option to evacuate survivors from the menu (image above).

Chalk It Up To Experience

How to unlock: Have a marine with at least 2 Prostheses.

Trophy type: bronze

Comment: A marine can receive a prosthesis after one of their limbs is severely injured (e.g. by an explosion) - amputation will be necessary. Evacuate the injured soldier to Otago via the Dropship.

After returning to the Medical Quarters, choose the option to install a prosthesis. Take this soldier on the next missions and after they are severely injured again, you may be able to install the second prosthesis.
