You will face the fourth Alien Queen towards the end of mission 6 in Aliens Dark Descent. How to get to the Queen's lair in Basement 2?

1. Reaching the Queen's lair is one of the main objectives of the mission.
2. On Basement 1 level, you will face numerous xenomorphs in the processor room.

Interact with 2 terminals to raise bridges and unlock the passage to the elevator traveling to Basement 2.

1. The game will show you the Queen after reaching Basement 2, but you can't reach the lair right away as the bridges leading to it are down.
2. There are 2 entrances to the main hall and you can choose either of them. The doors will close behind the squad, so be ready to fight a group of xenomorphs and the Queen herself (your squad should be healed, have low stress level, and restocked ammo).

How to raise the bridges to the Queen's lair?

1. The game will display a tutorial on how to avoid energy pole discharges. Discharges appear after the orange wave reaches the outer red circle.
2. Wait until a given wave ends and then run further to get outside the circle.
3. You can stop or slow down xenomorphs inside circles so that discharges can kill them.

1. The destination is the terminal that can raise the bridge (marked on the map). You can reach it from the west or from the east.
2. On the way to the terminal, stop for a moment and defeat the approaching xenomorphs so that they won't be able to get to your squad members.
3. Watch out especially for Alien-Warriors. The game signals their stronger attacks with a semicircle and they can more easily knock down your marines. Use your good skills and don't be afraid to spend Command Points.
4. Don't try to stall, because the xenomorphs won't stop appearing until the Queen is killed. It's also not worth wasting time on setting up mines or sentries.

How to easily defeat the Alien Queen?

1. Start heading back towards the lower part of the room, where the platforms to the Queen's lair are. The boss's health bar should appear and you will receive a warning about the Queen sighting.
2. You can make the fight easier by stopping or slowing down the Queen near the pillars with discharges. Use, e.g. Suppressive Fire skill. The discharge wave should significantly weaken the boss. If necessary, you can quickly retreat to another pillar and wait for the Queen.

1. After winning the fight, reach the Queen's lair, but watch out for facehuggers, which may still be in this area. The primary objective of the mission is to take the power core and stop the energy discharges in the area.
2. You can now return to the Queen's corpse and obtain a Xenosample and a Xenotech blueprint from it.
