XCOM 2 is a turn based strategy game, with decent looking graphics, which is a heavy improvement over the first installment of the series. Unfortunately, thanks to that and the poor optimization of the product, the game requires a powerful machine to be able to run it on the highest settings, in 60 fps. A PC purchased in the last few years should suffice to have a relatively smooth gameplay, but you will be forced to tune down a few visual options. The following guide was prepared on a machine with pretty average components, equipped with the i5-3470 processor, NVIDIA GeForce GTX 750 Ti graphics and 16GB of RAM. This machine was capable of running the game smoothly, but some of the visual options, such as the anti-aliasing had to be tuned down. Problems arose during the last few hours of the game, where the performance can drop below 10 frames per second without any apparent reason.

The guide was created on a computer with following specification:

OS: Windows 7, 64 bits

CPU: Intel(R) Core(TM) i3-3470 CPU @ 3.20 GHz

RAM: 16.00 GB

GPU: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 750Ti, 2 GB internal memory

This specification allowed the game to run relatively smoothly, in the 1080p resolution, but some of the visuals, such as the anti-aliasing, had to be tuned down a bit. Problems arose during the last few hours of the game, where the performance dropped below 10 frames per second.
