The last, tenth facility is the game is the Defense Matrix, another quite peculiar one. The functionality of the facility is limited to providing the Avenger ship in turrets, which are used during the missions in which you will have to protect your base from an alien invasion - the ship will be grounded and you will have to fend off the attack.

Given the fact that available space on the ship is severely limited, you can easily skip this facility, as the missions that benefit from it happen rarely, and you can easily "dodge" them by observing the movement of the UFO on the world map.

Construction takes 14 days.

Monthly upkeep cost - 10x Supplies.

- The possibility to use turrets during the UFO assaults on your ship.

Quad Turrets: gives you additional turrets, further increasing the defensive capabilities of your ship.

Cost: 75x Supplies, 2 Power. Monthly upkeep cost - 15x Supplies.

Staff: one engineer can be placed here, which will increase the combat capabilities of your turrets.
