Most of the buildings you construct in Tropico 6 have several modes of operation that affect employee satisfaction and efficiency. Some of them are unlocked from the beginning of the game, while others become available after reaching another era or after developing specific research.

The operating modes can be freely changed. Just click on the building of your choice. In the newly opened panel you will find all the information related to its functioning. The mode change tool is located just below the name of the building.

This will open a panel with a list of available operating modes [1]. Each of them has a short description [2], so you will learn how its implementation will affect the functioning of selected structure.

You can make changes at any time. This is particularly useful in the case of media buildings. With their help, you can persuade citizens to join a friendly faction. This will increase your approval in the country.
