In secretary's office approach her desk and click on it. Examine all items on top table.
Take a brush from a pencil box. Notice, that the typewriter has no ribbon. See also a torn page in the notebook - only a headline from the message required to send remains (Message from Farley's writing desk).
Although, on the clean sheet of paper may be a trace of a text (click with an hand icon and then a glass) - but you need more work to reveal it.
So enter the Farley's office (on the left) and take ash from ashtray on the desk.
Return to secretary's office, approach the desk and again take a look at a upper left part of notebook. Cover it with ash and brush until it disappears. Holmes will decipher a note and a new entry goes to "Documents": note from Farley.
Now, take a look inside the trashcan between desk and a window. Holmes will see an old roll of tape and comment, that secretary threw it out recently.
Go to Farley's office again. Approach a file cabinet in the corner. According to what Sherlock read in a second note, he'll try to open "DEF" drawer, but it's locked.
Glance at a small phone table on the right. Pick up keys.
By the way, Holmes will see a carefully written number which he wants to check. So hit it - it turns out that it's a... Scotland Yard's number.
Finally, using a key, Holmes can open a "DEF" drawer.
Pick up a document which has a left corner covered with a blue ink from a ribbon. It turns out to be an index card about prince Woodville. There are also traces of grease Farley's fingers.
Watson notices, that you can observe a street from this place.
Get interested in the board hanging behind a journalist's desk. Take from it a photo on the left (photo of prince Woodville), message for "Globe Explorer" and newspaper article (upper right).
