Examine the Poison | The Murder in Diocese of Knightsbridge The Testament of Sherlock Holmes Guide
Last update: 11 May 2016
Now analyse the content of a broken vial (activate it in the equipment and click on an analyser on the right side of a laboratory table). The board appears: you have to define qualities of a fluid which was in a vial.
Click on the bottle's neck (or test-tube's tap with the question mark) and Holmes will pour the remaining fluid from the broken vial to the test-tube.
Then, click on the remaining test-tubes so they move over a beaker. Every of them should have turned on the tap, so a bit of fluid pours to the beaker containing a fluid from a broken vial. Now you should notice the number and colors of the stains appearing in the beaker. Then by clicking on the proper rubric in the table on the left, choose the number.
- Orange fluid: 1 brown stain, 2 yellow, 1 blue.
- Blue fluid: 3 brown stains, 2 grey.
- Green fluid: 2 brown stains, 3 grey.
- Yellow fluid: 2 green, 1 blue.
- Raspberry fluid: 3 brown stains, 3 green.
If you can't count all stains, you can repeat the examination: later the fluids exhaust (in such case you have to restart the riddle).
As an effect of this test, in a bookmark "Documents" you will find results of chemical analysis. Holmes asks Watson to find a monography about famous poisoners.
You will find it on the desk, on the right from the window (an entry added to "Documents": acts of Hans Schielman a.k.a "Rat Killer - read them). Approach Holmes and ask him about it.
