Journal entry
Check the kitchen located on the ground floor of Joel's house in the Packing Up stage. You must examine the owl mug shown in the picture. This action will motivate Ellie to make a new entry in the journal.
Joel's Watch
It's an artifact. On the first floor of Joel's house, check the bedroom and open the red box on the bed. Besides the watch, Ellie will find a revolver in it.
Journal entry
On the first floor of Joel's house in the Packing Up stage go into the music room and interact with the guitar from the picture above lying by the window. Ellie will add a new entry to her journal.
