On this spoiler-free page of our guide to The Last of Us 2, you can find a list of all secrets available in Capitol Hill level. This level is one of the stages in the Seattle Day 1 chapter, in which you play as Ellie. It is very easy to miss a collectible during this stage as this district has many open areas. This means that different paths lead to various areas and that many of the buildings which you pass by can be explored further.

Chevy's Apology
It's an artifact. It can be found in the initial part of this stage, in which you have to travel through suburbs consisting of a large number of residential buildings. Take an interest in apartment number 6, located near the pool. Follow the bloodstains shown in the picture.
Watch out for a single infected enemy on the first floor that will suddenly attack Ellie. After defeating the monster, find a note on the bed in the bedroom.
Kinnard, Esq. Trading Card
It's a collector's trading card - a collectible. Stay in the area with apartment buildings and find apartment building number 3.
Secret is hidden in the drawer of a cupboard next to the couch.
Rockafella Trading Card
It's a collector's trading card - a collectible. Reach the Capitol Inn motel area.
Go left and explore the alleyway at the back of the motel. This will allow you to reach the shutter shown in the picture - it allows you to enter a locked motel room.
The trading card is on the floor of the motel room.
Raul's Olive Branch
This is an artifact that can be found near the motel described above. You need to get through the motel parking lot. In the spot shown in the picture there is a passage to a residential building visible in the distance.
There is an apartment building at the rear of the motel and your job is to get to the balcony located on the first floor. There's a simple puzzle to solve - start moving the trash container and push it under the balcony. Climb onto the container and then on the balcony.
The yellow card is in one of the drawers in the kitchen.
Workbench #1
Follow the main path in Capitol Hill level until you reach the gas station shown in the picture. Car service is next door and that's where you have to go (important note - there will be a group of enemies in the gas station that you need to wipe out).
You will find the table next to the partially elevated garage door.
Doctor Stem Trading Card
It's a collector's trading card - a collectible. You can find it in the Bookstore building shown in the picture. You'll recognize it by the LGBT flag. You can find it soon after passing near the gas station.
The secret lies on a large crate in a room at the back of the bookstore.
Rebecca's Tip Off
It's an artifact. You must start in the building of the Bookstore in which you have found the trading card described above. Find a passage inside the Bookstore to the adjacent Coffee House café.
The document lies on a counter next to a sink and a coffee-making machine.
Training Manual: Stealth
The training manual isn't among the collectibles mentioned at the level selection screen but nevertheless is an important item, as collecting it unlocks a new category of passive skills that can be bought for supplements. The new abilities, in accordance to the name of the manual, are associated with sneaking and silent elimination of enemies.
Stay at the Coffee House cafe where you have found the note described above. You can find the training manual on the shelf next to the typewriter.
Sergeant Frost Trading Card
It's a collector's trading card - a collectible. You can find it in the later part of this stage, specifically after you find the Olive Street Market building shown in the picture. You have to defeat some living enemies before you even get close to the marketplace. Also, there are some infected opponents inside the building.
You will find the card you are looking for in one of the vertical cabinets.
Candelabra Trading Card
It's a collector's trading card - a collectible. You can get it soon after you reach the place in which you will witness a mine trap being detonated by one of the infected for the first time.
Enter the building from which the monster ran out, and watch out for more traps. The secret is lying on one of the shelves next to the ATM.
Tower Doodles
It's an artifact. You will find it shortly after collecting the trading card described above. Start by reaching the open gate shown in the picture.
A little further on there is the observation tower and you have to use a ladder to climb to the top of it. The note can be found at the watch point of the tower.
Raul's Account
It's an artifact and you can find it when you walk through the area adjacent to the river. Take an interest in the overgrown truck shown in the picture.
Check the truck's cargo space to find the document.
Fran's Refusal
It's an artifact. You can find it soon after you reach an area (shown in the picture) that looks like a minefield - you have to avoid or detonate numerous mine-traps.
On the right there is a Martial Arts school building. Enter the building by breaking one of the windows. You can find the document on the bulletin board.
Workbench #2
Workbench table in Capitol Hill level is also located inside the Martial Arts building adjacent to the minefield.
Bizarrebra Trading Card
It's a collector's trading card - a collectible. You can take collect it while crossing the minefield in the final part of the stage. Look for the entrance to the shop shown in the picture, which is to the left of the road. Get inside the store, and watch out for numerous traps along the way.
The secret is on one of the shelves.
Thrift Store Reminder
It's an artifact. Stay in the store adjacent to the minefield where you found the trading card described above. Find the door leading to the store's employee section. A note hangs on the bulletin board.
Safe
The safe in Capitol Hill level is located inside the same shop located in the vicinity of a mine field, in which there were also 2 other secrets described above - a trading card and a note. Safe code - 55-01-33.
