You receive this quest automatically after you reach the market square of the market district, or directly through the conversation with Indra Lucere (M5). You learn then that her father has gone missing and she asks you to find him. In order to find out about the circumstances in which he went missing, go to Orina (M5) and ask about Bertrand. During the conversation you learn that a Sherm has recently bought a magic stone that may have something to do with the disappearance. Go to Sherm (M5, Sherm) and talk to him. Talk to him like a detective would so, accuse him of lie at the first opportunity. Sherm turns out to be a cultist and he attacks you. During the fight, he will reveal the passage under the floor. To open it, you need to hack the plants in the way. You can try using your strength (STR) but this will fail, which is why you should take the documents on the table and talk to Relona (M5, Relona's Potions). After you have talked to Relona, you receive a special potion (Icewind Mixture). Return to Sherma's house (M5, Sherm) and use the potion on the secret passage. Note that this completely freezes the plants, and only a single weapon swipe will suffice to destroy them. The passage leads to a secret cult underground. Kill all the opponents that you encounter there and finally, you will encounter Cyrana.
Note!
This is the most difficult fight yet. If you do not feel up to it, you do not have enough potions or scrolls, do not get into the fight. It is better to suit up properly beforehand and return to Cyrana. This quest is connected with the Serving Bregan D'arthe and The other Luskan Cult side quests.
If you decide you are not yet ready, enter the main hall, where Cyrana is and talk to him. Regardless of the result of this conversation, you will have to fight several strong demons commanded by an even stronger necromancer. The best spot to fight the battle is the narrow passage through the door. Position your strongest character there. Remember to keep the cleric away from the heat of the fight. As soon as you notice the necromancer cast a spell (the whirl on the ground) move away as quickly as possible. The spell is powerful and it will surely kill the party members. If this happens, backtrack to the previous narrow passage and repeat the tactic with the warrior. If you are playing as a mage, or there is Hommet on the team, cast spells that cause paralysis, sleeping or other effects that incapacitate at least some of the demons. After the battle, talk to the imprisoned Edwin. During the conversation, Edwin turns into demon Gruxhar, who is not too difficult to defeat, though. After you kill him, collect the relict from the table that you also need for Serving Bregan D'arthe . As soon as you search the room, return to Indra Lucere for your reward.
Reward: 1000 experience and Lucere's father's locker key.
