Battlefront 2: Technical difficulties - how to fix? Battlefront 2 guide, tips
Last update: 28 May 2020
The initial version of the game (PC) had some problems.
Error 327
- No one joins lobby after a completed round. This error is rather frequent - upon entering a lobby you will receive error code: 327. The only solution is to go back to the main menu and search for a game again. Sometimes, restarting the game can be more helpful. Always check a number of players after a completed round: a match starts even if there is half of them - playing like that isn't fun; it can also happen that one team will be outnumbered 5 vs 2. This error, often appearing when attempting to join the game, may be caused by high ping. Make sure your internet connection is stable.
- The game won't start, lags/black screen. Reset your computer and don't run any background applications. When you see a black screen, you won't be able to close the game by using any of the key shortcuts: try to open Task Manager (Alt+Ctrl+Del) type "star", press Del and Enter. If this problem keeps appearing, you may have to check files integrity (this should take about a half an hour).
- Sound problems. If you have problems with sound (you can't hear anything or there are crackling noises) then you should check options in Control Panel. Try to disable all audio outputs (microphones) and leave only the output that you are currently using (speakers/headphones), the rest should be turned off.
- Low framerate. Activate DirectX 12 if your video card supports it. For a better performance on a good PC you should turn Vertical synch off. If your PC isn't that good then check the most demanding options: Resolution scaling, Post-Processing; after that you can check: Shadows, Reflections, Antialiasing.
