Battlefront 2: Battle points in Galactic Assault - how to get it fast? Tips Battlefront 2 guide, tips
Last update: 28 May 2020
Here you can find informations about how to get battle points
General information
Battle points are collected during matches. They indicate, e.g. how much experience you can get at the end of a match but they also allow you to buy heroes and vehicles during battles (a purchase reduces your current battle points but it doesn't lower your final experience for that match).
The points collected throughout a match are displayed on the bottom of the screen, right above the health bar. Thanks to that you can keep an eye on them and, e.g. decide when you can fall back and buy a fighter.
The information about all battle points collected throughout an entire match are displayed in the scoreboard (1) - the points are shown right next to your name.
How to get more points?
- Bounty Hunter card can help you get more points which, in turn, let's you use heroes or vehicles faster. This card is available to all characters. Upgrade it to get more points.
- A good way to get points fast is to eliminate vehicles that appear in a match. Remember that your weapons matter here: points are received by dealing damage to vehicles. By using, e.g. FWMB-10K or NT-242 you can get a lot of points because these weapons can deal more damage to a tank or an aircraft than to infantry. Personally, I recommend using an upgraded NT-242 to shoot fighters down. However, you need to know where to aim - this depends on your target's distance.
- You can also fly in a fighter to get a lot of points in a short time by eliminating other aircraft. This solution has another advantage - some vehicles are cheap, e.g. a TIE Fighter costs 600 bp.
- Remember that when you are playing as a hero, you get less points for the same activities performed as any of the infantry classes!
Battle points
Rewards for activities
- A kill - 100 points, subsequent kills in a series: 200 points.
- Assist - 100 points.
- Damage - a received amount of battle points depends on how much damage you dealt to a target. It doesn't matter whether you are shooting at a regular trooper unit, a vehicle or a hero.
- Other activities: e.g. healing, squad shield (but, e.g. a scan dart doesn't count here) - a very small amount that depends on efficiency.
- Death - 100 points, heroic death - 200 pkt.
Teamplay
- You can receive additional points by completing mission objectives and cooperating with your teammates. Stay close to your team to get more points (you also get points for their kills even though you were only standing close to them). You won't get much unless your group is big.
- However, sticking to your team and getting points together lets you to increase a multiplier which, in turn, lets you get up to 2x more points.
- Completing objectives
- Capturing points with other players by standing close to them: 10 points/second; 20 points/second when you are capturing alone by holding the action button.
- Additional 100 points for a kill while defending an objective.
- Other activities: e.g. picking up an ION launcher: 200 points, shooting it: 500 points.
- Stopping an enemy from shooting or capturing a point - 200 points.
- Dealing damage to an unprotected target - damage = points.
- Participating in another stage of a match (e.g. capturing points): 500-1,000 points.
