Battlefront 2: Starting tips Battlefront 2 guide, tips
Last update: 28 May 2020
After starting the game, the first thing that you should do is to complete a short training in Arcade Mode. They are very useful and the game doesn't give you any specific mission objectives - you simply have to kill 75 enemies in 10 minutes. This is a perfect opportunity to test different classes and their abilities.
Regarding the multiplayer: first, you should try all available modes. This allows you to learn something about them and unlock special milestones - they reward you with credits that you can spend on heroes or crates (in the main menu). Each crate contains random bonuses, mainly cards.
These cards are assigned to a selected class: you can use up to 3 cards. In the beginning you can only use 1 slot. The rest is unlocked after you acquire more powerful cards (number of cards and their levels are added up as points). After unlocking more slots and placing more cards you will feel their impact on your hero's stats.
The default and characteristic modes in this game are Galactic Assault and Starfighter Assault. However, you may have a lot of problems while playing in Galactic Assault when you are new to the game. You should first spend a few hours in, e.g. Strike mode where you can learn about the game and the gameplay itself is more dynamic.
Starfighter Assault has a lot of fans but this mode isn't an easy one. It has its own progression (vehicle classes that aren't connected to your character) and requires a different set of skills when compared to other modes. More information can be found in Game modes chapter. You should learn about all modes that are described in this guide before you start the game yourself.
