Support class is available in Strike and Galactic Assault. You can buy these units with battle points (get them for killing players, assists and completing objectives) after dying.

This unit is suited for close and mid-range combat. High mobility can help this unit in open maps and it serves as a support unit. This class has more health points than the regular troops but you should still hide behind covers from time to time to regenerate lost health. Its main equipment is a jetpack: thanks to that this class has the highest mobility, can make fast dodges and is great for infiltrating. Its variants from other factions only differ in the default weapons.

  1. Moderate amount of health: 250 points,
  2. Very high mobility,
  3. First person perspective is not available.

Abilities (they are the same for all factions):

  1. Jetpack Boost: increase your mobility by jumping and using your jetpack to reach inaccessible places or to avoid enemies. Warning: you can't control your character while you are midair. Fast recharge.
  2. Rocket Launcher: shoot with a rocket launcher at a target and deal a lot of damage on a small area; useful against enemy vehicles.
  3. Jetpack Dash: use your jetpack to move forward fast. You can do that after jumping or from a height to fly above others' heads.

Enforcer

Each of the available Enforcers has the following attributes:

  1. High amount of health: 400 points,
  2. Moderate mobility,
  3. First person perspective is not available.

Abilities:

  1. Each class has three abilities. The first ability (grenades) depends on your current faction.
  2. Overload: temporarily prevents your weapon from building up heat, range is increased slightly and your attacks deal more damage.
  3. Fortify: temporarily increases your health points by 175 points; the bar gets widened when your health is full.

Flametrooper (First Order)

A flamethrower inflicts damage continuously over a period of time - Battlefront 2: Support classes | Heroes, vehicles and support - Heroes, vehicles and support - Star Wars Battlefront 2 Game Guide
A flamethrower inflicts damage continuously over a period of time

This class is equipped with a flamethrower. It is only useful in fights in small and tight areas, preferably rooms. The weapon overheats after 15 seconds of continuous usage which means that you can keep firing it but you won't deal much damage (however, an enemy keeps losing health for a certain period of time). Also, flames ignore defense (shields) and are great against heroes.

Grenade:

  1. Incendiary Imploder: a timed grenade: its explosion sets enemies on fire and deals them damage over time. It also sets ground on fire which burns for 5 seconds and prevents enemies from passing through, e.g. a corridor.
  2. Sonic Imploder: a timed grenade: stuns enemies upon explosion and deals them a little bit of damage.
  3. Thermal Imploder - a powerful grenade with a great explosion radius and damage. Its disadvantage? Can be easily detected because of its unique sound. Also, it needs a lot of time to explode after it hits ground.
  4. Wrist Rocket - shoots a rocket instead of throwing a grenade that quickly reaches its target and deals a lot of damage to said target as well as nearby units.

Death Trooper (Galactic Empire)

Death Troopers can shoot for a long period of time which makes them great units for suppressive fire - Battlefront 2: Support classes | Heroes, vehicles and support - Heroes, vehicles and support - Star Wars Battlefront 2 Game Guide
Death Troopers can shoot for a long period of time which makes them great units for suppressive fire

A unit similar to a Flametrooper but this one is equipped with a heavy blaster (40 rounds) that has a high fire rate and accuracy - thanks to that this unit works great on short and medium distances.

Grenade:

Wookiee Warrior (Resistance / Rebel Alliance)

Wookiee Warrior can withstand a lot of damage and is very effective on close range

Wookiee Warrior is the only unit that can use a Bowcaster. However, this isn't the same model as the one used by Chewbacca. This one can only shoot three very accurate shots (aiming changes the way in which the shots fly towards a target) that deal a lot of damage and ignore shields a little bit. This weapon can't be reloaded. Its rate of fire is low which means that you should use Overload a lot.

Grenade:

B2 Super Battle Droid (Separatists)

This droid is equipped with a hand blaster (25 rounds) that has a moderate rate of fire and accuracy. Fortify greatly increases its rate of fire. This is the only unit that shoots a rocket launcher form its wrist instead of throwing a grenade.
