Ratchet & Clank: Deplanetiser, revisit - Walkthrough Ratchet & Clank Guide

Last update: 16 April 2022

On this page of the Ratchet & Clank guide, you will find a description of the tasks on the planet - Deplanetiser - revisit. You will revisit the Deplanetiser station, and this is the last location in the game. This place is no different from your last visit. The only significant change is that this time the heroes will stay together, so Ratchet will be able to use all his abilities.

A return to the Deplanetiser station, as well as the last location in the game. This place is exactly the same as the one you've vested before Kalebo III. The only difference is the fact that this time the heroes will travel together, giving you access to all of your abilities. Below you can find a detailed walkthrough of the location.

Objectives:

Locate the Gravity Stabiliser

Raritarium deposit located right next to the starting point.

As soon as you regain control over your character, turn lightly to the left and head straight ahead - below the stairs there's a Raritarium deposit to collect. Clear the area off the boxes, visit the store and stand on the flashing button on the ground, located in front of the closed door. Activate the gadget you've acquired on the previous planet (Hologuise). Thanks to that Ratchet will be able to turn himself into Captain Quark, allowing you to move around the station.

Those buttons can only be activated when you're disguised as Captain Quark.

This is important because when the enemies notice your presence, they will push a button on a red "panel of death", which can be found in most rooms. When that happens, Ratchet will lose all of his health points and you will have to start from a checkpoint. Jumping, attacking and using weapons will turn off the camouflage, but you can turn it on immediately after.

You must wave at the enemy so that he opens the passage. - Ratchet & Clank: Deplanetiser, revisit - Walkthrough - Walkthrough - Ratchet and Clank Game Guide & Walkthrough
You must wave at the enemy so that he opens the passage.

Open the door and go inside. Destroy the boxes, jump on top of an elevation and activate the camouflage again to open the next door. Go through the tunnel on the left side and when you reach a force field wave at the guard located there. This will cause the enemy to lift off the barrier, allowing you enter the room. You can also see the mentioned "panel of death".

Prevent the enemies from activating the panel.

Ignore the enemy and the nearby boxes and head towards the next door with the Hologuise button. Get inside and approach the elevation. Wait for the enemy to turn around, jump on it and activate the camouflage again. Go straight ahead and wave at the guard to lift off the force field. The further part is blocked by lasers on the ground - they will disappear once you've defeated both of those enemies. Get rid of them while preventing them from reaching the panel.

The button used to lower a ladder leading to the Gold Bolt.

Direct the camera above one of the planet models, where a green button can be found (as shown on the above screenshot). Shooting it will lower a ladder that can be used to reach the upper level. Do so and jump across the moving platforms to the other side, where a Gold Bolt can be found.

Destroy all the models of the planets to get the trophy.

Clear the room and then destroy all models of the planets located on the sides of the room. This will reward you with the "Character Assassination" trophy. When you're done, head towards the next door, activate the camouflage and continue your journey.

Jump across the platforms when the guard is not looking. - Ratchet & Clank: Deplanetiser, revisit - Walkthrough - Walkthrough - Ratchet and Clank Game Guide & Walkthrough
Jump across the platforms when the guard is not looking.

You will enter a room with a number of platforms - you must jump across them to get to the other side of the room. Wait for the enemy to turn around and jump on the first platform. Activate the camouflage and wait for the enemy to turn around once more. Repeat the process and reach the last platform. Wait for the enemy to turn around to you and wave at him. When the force field is disabled, wait for him to turn around again and jump through the passage. Activate the camouflage and continue.

Beams that you must climb to get to the other side of the room.

There's a group of enemies here that must be eliminated. Approach the "panel of death" and get rid of the enemy standing next to it. Eliminate the rest of foes while preventing them from reaching the deadly mechanism. When you're done, head straight ahead from the blocked door and use the yellow beams to get to the upper floor. Afterwards, turn around and use another set of beams to get to the platform.

Heres another climbing section. - Ratchet & Clank: Deplanetiser, revisit - Walkthrough - Walkthrough - Ratchet and Clank Game Guide & Walkthrough
Here's another climbing section.

While on top of the platform, turn to the left where you can find another set of beams to climb. Use them to get to the right side of the room. Be careful, as there's an enemy patrolling the area. Wait for him to hide behind one of the boxes, jump to the solid ground and activate the camouflage. Eliminate the enemy as soon as he moves away from the panel, destroy the nearby boxes and head to the next room.

Prevent the enemies from reaching the terminal.

Drop down and stand right next to the terminal of the trap. Eliminate the enemies in such a way so that they are unable to activate it. There will be more groups of enemies incoming so just stand your ground and eliminate them. When the area is clear, destroy the remaining boxes and head straight ahead to reach the upper floor.

Another room, the same principle - defeat the enemies before they can reach the panel. When you're done, direct the camera towards the entrance you came here through. To the left of it there's a pair of large boxes with blue lights on them. Climb on top of them and use the handrails on the right side of them to get to the upper floor. Jump across the moving platforms to reach the last Gold Bolt in the game.

Head towards the next room opened by stepping on the Hologuise button. This one is very similar to the one you've gone through a moment ago - you must reach the other side of the room by jumping across platforms when the enemy is not looking. The only difference here is the fact that you must watch out for the mines flying in the area. When you reach the last platform, wave at the enemy to life off the force field.

Move right behind the beams of light. - Ratchet & Clank: Deplanetiser, revisit - Walkthrough - Walkthrough - Ratchet and Clank Game Guide & Walkthrough
Move right behind the beams of light.

In the next room you have to climb a magnetic wall on the left side of the room. It's filled with numerous traps. Mines should simply be avoided, and the beams of light are the easiest to get through by travelling right behind them, as soon as the first beam disappears. Get to the other side and defeat the enemy located there.

Before you venture forth, collect the crystals from the Raritarium deposit, located right next to the magnetic ramp you used to get here. Replenish ammo at the store and use the crystals to upgrade your weapons, as the next room is filled with enemies.

You will encounter a huge group of enemies here.

Stand right next to the terminal with the trap and open fire - remember to prevent the enemies from reaching the terminal. Enemies will come in waves, so don't let your guard down and don't leave the terminal until you are sure that the area is clear. When the fight is over, collect the items dropped by the enemies.

The correct laser arrangement of the Trespasser Puzzle.

Approach the terminal with the Trespasser puzzle - the correct laser arrangement can be seen on the above screenshot. You must now head back through a number of rooms you already visited, until you reach the room with giant statues. A large group of enemies will ambush you here. After you eliminate them, a new passage will open.

Head to the Core

Break through hordes of enemies in the tunnels until you reach an open space. Get rid of enemies in the area and activate the mechanism located to the right of the giant force field. This will lift the said force field, opening up further passage.

Boxes in the distance lead to the RYNO card.

You must now look for the magnetic ramp leading upwards - it's located in the south-eastern section of the room. At the end of it you will find a holocard to collect. Afterwards, head towards the passage leading further into the core (there's a store right next to it). Stand in front of the tunnel, turn to the right and locate a pair of boxes (a larger and a smaller one) standing right in front of you. Climb them up and then on the elevation to collect another RYNO card.

Disable the Gravity Stabiliser

Jump down, replenish supplies at the store and go through the tunnel. There's an elevator at the end of it - use it to get near another Trespasser Puzzle. The correct arrangement of lasers can be seen on the above screenshot. Solving this puzzle will initiate a cut-scene and a boss fight.

Stop Captain Quark

Use Mr. Zurkon and Proton Drum to make the encounter a lot easier.

The encounter with the Captain Quark is quite unique, as the enemy has access to similar gear. The fight can be divided into two parts, like most of the boss battles in the game. During the first one the boss will simply attack - both by using his plasma pistol and throwing grenades that cause shockwaves. The first attack can be dodged by staying in motion, the latter one by jumping at the right moment.

Step on the Groovitron ball to get rid of its effects. - Ratchet & Clank: Deplanetiser, revisit - Walkthrough - Walkthrough - Ratchet and Clank Game Guide & Walkthrough
Step on the Groovitron ball to get rid of its effects.

The second phase begins when Captain Quark loses a portion of his health. He will then drop a Groovitron ball on the ground, which will force your character to dance. You won't be able to shoot, only to move around and jump. To break free of the effect you must get to the center of the arena and step on the Groovitron ball, which will return the encounter to "phase one".

You can use Mr. Zurkon and Proton Drum ball(s) to make the encounter a lot easier - both of those weapons will damage the enemy, even during the phase in which you are forced do dance. Captain Quark will repeat the maneuver with the Groovitron a couple of times, but the effects are easy to negate. When the health bar of the boss reaches few percent, the encounter will end and a series of cut-scenes will initiate.

Defeat Dr. Nefarious

Remember to use the harpoon to get to the other side of the abyss.

Another boss fight, as well as the final moment of the game. The encounter starts with you grinding on a rail - you must straight ahead to safely reach the other side. When the first meeting of rails happen, jump on the one located on the right side, destroy a couple of mines and jump across the abyss with the help of your harpoon.

Dont miss the jump on the neighboring rail. - Ratchet & Clank: Deplanetiser, revisit - Walkthrough - Walkthrough - Ratchet and Clank Game Guide & Walkthrough
Don't miss the jump on the neighboring rail.

At the next meeting of rails you must jump on the left side. When you reach the abyss use the harpoon again to get to the further part of the rail. Jump thrice to the rails on the right side and get across the abyss with the harpoon again. You must now destroy few more mines, jump across the abyss and change the rail to the one on the right side to reach the ending of the rail and start the real encounter.

The encounter with Dr. Nefarious is quite an easy, but an exciting one nonetheless. - Ratchet & Clank: Deplanetiser, revisit - Walkthrough - Walkthrough - Ratchet and Clank Game Guide & Walkthrough
The encounter with Dr. Nefarious is quite an easy, but an exciting one nonetheless.

The encounter with Dr. Nefarious isn't that hard. You must remain in motion all the time (which access to the Jetpack helps a lot with), avoid his attacks and deliver your own. After losing some of his health, the boss will start regenerating by drawing energy from the nearby supernova. There's no special tactic to prevent him from doing so - continue your barrage and after a few seconds the boss will be knocked back from the star, which will stun him for a few seconds.

Some enemies will appear on the battlefield, but at this point in the game they pose zero threat - you won't even notice them in the area. Remember to regularly replenish fuel for the Jetpack and to move around the area all the time - the enemy will regularly destroy the platforms you refueled at, preventing you from using it again. Drop the health bar of the enemy to zero and a long series of cut-scenes will initiate, ending the game.

But that's not all! You can continue the game on the same difficulty level (to, for instance, collect all the items you've missed), or start the game in the Challenge mode, which is the equivalent of the "New Game+". You will keep all the items and upgrades you've accumulated so far, but you will start the game from the very beginning. The enemies will be tougher, but you will be able to acquire more bolts here thanks to a bolt multiplier.
