Rifts and Overdrive | Dungeons MU Legend Guide
Last update: 29 November 2017
Rifts are dungeons where difficulty level is adjusted to your character - all monsters inside of it will have the same level as you (or the strongest person in your party). This makes Rifts rather easy to beat because each visit puts you up against a similar challenge.
Entering a Rift
Entering Rifts is simple - find an entrance (they are marked with a specific icon and "Rift" written under it) on any of the maps (excluding cities), select a difficulty and go inside. You can also use the option to search for a party automatically - entering them with other players is a much better idea because this allows you to get better rewards.
Rewards for beating Rifts
Completing Rifts allows you to get valuable items and Magic Gems.
Magic Gems, rare items and a crate that allows you to draw another reward are the major rewards. After completing a Rift, you also get an additional reward card. Each player gets a rank after clearing these dungeons (defeating a boss) - the final score depends on long that dungeon took you, number of defeated elite enemies and your deaths. Based on your rank the game draws 4 cards and you can select one of them to receive a reward.
Rift Overdrive
Rift's Overdrive level increases every time when someone enters it (a lone player or a party) - you can check its current level by opening Rift window ("N" key in default). If that bar reaches 100%, it initiates Overdrive and all players who are on the same continent will be able to enter that Rift as many times as they want.
What is more, a player who caused Overdrive receives a huge bonus - increased damage, greater chance for critical hits, reduced time for recharging abilities, bonus to movement speed and increased health and mana regeneration. Because of that you should keep an eye on a Rift status and try to Overdrive it yourself. If you manage to do that then completing it even on the highest difficulty won't be a problem.
