Negative status effects in MU Legend MU Legend Guide
Last update: 30 November 2017
In addition to damage, attacks can cause various status effects that can reduce the capabilities of the target. Statuses usually last for a few seconds, but they can greatly impact each battle. Currently there are 16 effects in the game:
- Fear - causes the player to lose control of the character. The character will be wandering aimlessly until the effect ends.
- Stun - immobilizes the character and makes him or her unable to perform any actions.
- Taunt - forces the target to attack a character that used this effect.
- Slow - reduces movement speed of the target.
- Ignite - the target is set on fire. Similarly to the fear effect, it is unable to control it and it will run away from the attacker.
- Mutation - the target is transformed and becomes unable to use skills and attacks.
- Freeze - a character becomes frozen and immobilized. No actions can be performed in this state.
- Petrify - it works similarly to freeze.
- Ensnare - it keeps the target in one place, unable to move. The target can still attack and use abilities.
- Blind - blinds the target. A blinded target cannot hit anyone.
- Airborne - throws the target into the air. Such target cannot perform any actions.
- Poison - poisons the target and deals damage over time.
- Bleeding - similarly to poison, it deals damage over time.
- Burn - similarly to poison and bleeding, deals damage over time.
- Silence - makes it impossible for target to perform regular attacks and use skills.
- Stat reduction - temporary reduces character statistics like attack, defense, attack speed and other skills.
You should remember that you can reduce the time the effects work with the attribute "Crowd Control duration" - the attribute can be increased with items and by investing points in Soul Box ("Crowd Control duration" in "Defense" tab).
