Guild - How to create a guild in MU Legend? MU Legend Guide
Last update: 29 November 2017
Every game that focuses on playing with other players needs a system in which they can create alliances, clans or, in the case of MU Legend, guilds. Joining them isn't mandatory but doing that is worth your time because you will get a lot of useful benefits.
Guilds in MU Legend
Guilds consist of dozens of players. Together, you can hunt monsters, compete with each other, trade or simply (and foremost) make communication easier - each guild has its own chat channel. What is more, during a process of creating a guild its guild master can set their guild's "goal" - it can serve as a way of interacting with other players (Social), to level up characters, hunt monsters or to have fights with other players (PvP).
There are three mechanics that are connected to guilds:
- Contribution Points. This shows how much each player contributes to a guild. You can check it via Contribution Assessment window or in your equipment screen - Contribution Points are marked in purple. Currently, this mechanism is purely cosmetic - but in the future this mechanic should be connected with various rewards.
- Guild Growth. A guild's level depends on its members and their actions. Hunting monsters and completing quests gives your guild experience which increases its level.
- Guild Shrine. Each guild can build a shrine that can offer various benefits and bonuses which are granted to all its members.
Joining and creating your own guild
You can join a guild or create your own. The first method is much easier - enter the guild window ("G" key in default), check the list of available guilds and send your application. You can send up to 10 applications at the same time - you are not restricted to one application. When you are accepted to a guild all your other applications are canceled - but when your application is discarded then you get a chance to apply to another one.
Visit Olson to start creating your own guild - this character is located in commercial district in Ohrdor city. During your conversation with him you have to decide on your guild's name (2-12 characters) and pay a fee - 5,000,000 Zen. After that your guild is registered and you can start inviting other players.
Tips
When it comes to guilds you should remember about a few things:
- If you are searching for a guild, you should choose one from your country - this is because of a time zone. There is no point in joining a guild where other members are absent while you are playing.
- In the beginning you should join a guild instead of creating your own. The main reason is that creating a guild requires a lot of Zen - you should spend that money on other things.
- If you are a guild master, you should check out frequently whether your members are logging in or not. If some of them were absent for a few weeks then you can think about removing them to free up space for other, more active, potential members.
