As the game's name suggest, the main methods of gathering the bigger number of players are guilds. Players in such unit can not only cooperate during quests and events but also be recognizable during PvP and WvW. What is more, playing in a guild gives you influence points which can be used to improve the guild, what provides many unique bonuses.
Few clicks are required to create a guild. Press G, choose Create Guild, write your name (max 31 letters) and abbreviation (max 4 letters). After paying one silver you can start inviting friends. Joining the existing is equally simple. When you got invated, press G, the bookmark management, choose the name of the guild you want to join and click Join Guild. Last step is to represent the guild, thanks to which your successes will help develop the guild. To do so, just click on the Represent. Player may be in many guilds, but represent only one at once.
There can be 500 players in one guild, spread on few servers. It's worth mentioning that influence and bonuses are available only for the world where they have been conquered: changing it, you have to collect the influence again. Maximum number of players in your guild depends on the fee you paid:
- 50 players - after creating the guild
- 100 players - 1 silver
- 200 players - 10 silver
- 300 players - 1 gold
- 400 players - 1 gold
- 500 players - 10 gold
You can increase this number at Guild Registrar in every beginning location.
