Influence | Guilds Guild Wars 2 Guide
Last update: 11 May 2016
Influence is a special type of points, accumulated on the guild's account used for buying various upgrades and temporal bonuses. You collect them by taking part in events, undergrounds exploration and PvP. To collect influence, you have to represent a guild. What is more, influence is gathered only for the guild's part from the same server. So playing on the Blacktide doesn't give you points from the players on Gandary. REMARK: influence gathered during the game on overflow aren't saved.
All collected influence is noted down.
Below you can find methods of acquiring the influence:
Influence | Method |
2 | Every player who finished the event or storyline mission (the more player, the more influence) |
5 | Everyone player who won PvP |
10 | Every player who ended exploration of undergrounds. |
10 | Every new member |
10 | Every player who was online during checking the "presence list" (once a day in a random moment, chosen by the game) |
20 | For two players finishing the event or storyline mission in the same moment. |
10 | At Guild Promoter for two silver (you can multiply it) |
400 | Using Letter of Commendation. |
1000 | Using Tome of Influence. |
Gathered points may be spend for developing four branches of guild: Architecture, The Art of War, Economy and Politics. If the upgrade is cancelled during developing, the influence is returned. Points spent on speeding the production up are lost.
