Gloomwood includes ranged weapons - a revolver, a shotgun or a harpoon rifle. This page of the guide tells you how to get new varieties of firearms. You will also learn about enemy weapons.

In Gloomwood you can use weapons, including various types of firearms - a six-shot revolver, a shotgun or a silenced pistol. On this page of the guide, you will learn where to find different types of weapons. We also explain whether the game allows you to use enemies' weapons, e.g. their rifles.
Make sure you have free inventory slot for a new weapon. If the hero begins to grunt, it may be a sign that the inventory is full. Try to free up a few slots in a straight line. The larger the weapon (e.g. a shotgun), the more free slots are required.

Revolver - method 1
You can find the revolver in more than one location. Each of the revolvers found will be identical.
You can find the first revolver in the early part of Croup's Fishery. You have to start by solving the elevator riddle, thanks to which you will reach the Factory Floor of the main building of the village.
While exploring the new floor, find the inactive elevator shaft shown in the picture above. Use melee weapons to destroy boards.
There is a chain hanging in the elevator shaft - you can jump to it and grab it. Climb the chain up to the Accounting Office.
There is a safe in the office as shown in the picture above - use combination 363, which you could read after turning off the light in the room.
In the safe you will find, among others, a revolver and ammo.
Revolver - method 2
The second revolver is located in a more obvious place, in the final stage of the Croup's Fishery journey. You will reach a hut adjacent to the mine.
The easiest way to open the hut is to find the key lying on the wood stack next to it. You must eliminate the guard inside the hut or sneak past him.
The revolver is on the table next to the second Phonograph.
Undertaker Pistol with a Silencer
This weapon is well hidden and can be obtained in the Croup's Fishery stage. Start by leaving the main building. After you are near the water, walk on the footbridges. The cave shown in the picture above is adjacent to the main building - jump into the water and swim to it.
In the small cave you will find the safe shown in the picture. The safe combination is 415. This code can be found only much later in the game, in the Coast Cliffside stage, when you find the note by the lighthouse. By entering the combination now, you can start using the pistol immediately.
The silenced pistol is stored in a safe. It is worth noting that this weapon can use different types of ammunition, e.g. Slug and Incendiary. The C key is used to change the type of ammunition used.
Shotgun
You can obtain a shotgun during the Coast Cliffside stage. One of the main paths taken in this level will lead you to the Slaughtered Goat tavern. You will encounter 2 enemies right in front of it.
The shotgun is on the table to the left of the tavern. The key to the basement inside the tavern is also found in the same location. The shotgun is automatically assembled and requires 4 empty inventory slots.
Enemies' weapons - can they be used?
Some of the enemies you encounter also rely on firearms. The weapons include, for example, Hutsmans' Rifles.
The game allows you to pick up firearms dropped by defeated enemies and add them to your inventory, but you cannot use them yourself. After reading the weapon description, you will learn that it has been adapted to the enemies' deformed bodies and is inaccessible to the protagonist.
