The game takes place on the Pacific Ocean, where US Navy faces Imperial Japanese Navy in a series of grand battles. There are seventeen types of ships and eight types of planes at our disposal. Combat is turn-based and has two phases: movement and attack. The key to success lies in choosing a proper tactic.

The hero awakes after some time in an unknown place and discovers that the explosion has been caused by the god Yamatoga, and which led the 12 victims of the explosion to gaining partial divinity and being transported to a new, better world.
