An arcade party game created specifically for PlayStation VR goggles. SportsBarVR allows the player to take part in one of seven types of competition having their origins in their game-room equivalents. Those include billiards, darts, air hockey, skeeball, chess, checkers, as well as bar demolition sessions with the use of bats, chairs or empty bottles. Each kind of in-game competition is based on the rules of its real-life equivalent.

SportsBarVR, released on PS4, is the result of cooperation between CherryPop Games and Perilous Orbit. The game requires virtual reality goggles, and its premiere coincided with the market debut of PlayStation VR.

Mechanics

SportsBarVR allows players to take part in seven bar competitions - billiards, darts, coin football, skeeball, chess, checkers, and even bar fights during which we can use sticks, chairs, or even empty bottles. Each of these activities has their own specific rules, and players can compete or cooperate, trying to score as many points as possible. During the game, we can look around by moving our heads, and control the hands with motion controllers.
