White Day: A Labyrinth Named School

An FPP survival horror that employs anime-style visuals. The game was developed by studio ROIGAMES and is a remake of 2001's White Day. The main protagonist of the game is a young boy who invited his girlfriend to his school during the night. He wanted to make a surprise for her because of the White Day (a Korean version of Valentine’s day). However, weird and terrifying things start happening in the building and getting out quickly proves to be difficult.

Another unusual simulation game and the debut production by indie studio Sunken Places, developed for VR headgear. In Classroom Aquatic you play as a diver, who is also an exchange student in an underwater dolphin school. As everybody knows, dolphins are highly intelligent, so tests are not much of a problem for them. Not so for you, so in order not to make a fool of yourself, you have to sneakily glance at you classmates' tests and copy the right answers.
Fated: The Silent Oath

An episodic action adventure game by Frima, set in the mythical world of the Vikings. The title was designed with VR headsets in mind. Fated: The Silent Oath was developed by a former writer for the Assassin’s Creed series and focuses on a certain family that faces Ragnarok, which is the Nordic counterpart of the end of days. We assume the role of the father who tries to protect his loved ones from the wrath of gods. The action is shown from the first-person perspective.
Lantern

An unusual exploration game developed by Italian studio Storm in a Teacup. The plot of the game focuses on an Asian princess whose tears caused the world around her to lose its colors and start dying. The player assumes the role of a small lantern and is tasked with returning the life and colors to the realm by making everyone remember about the power of love. There are four areas to visit, each with different architecture and environment.

We play as a patient of the Blackwood Pines Sanatorium mental hospital, 60 years before the events of the previous game. The protagonist is tormented by nightmares and can’t remember how he got here.

A simulation game designed for virtual reality sets, taking us to Himalayas where we conquer the summit of the highest mountain in the world. Production was developed by Icelandic Sólfar Studios collaborating with RVX team, responsible for special effects in the Baltasar Kormáruk movie, Everest. Project was supported financially by many Scandinavian institutions.
Keep Talking and Nobody Explodes

An original co-op logic game developed by an independent studio Steel Crate Games. One player assumes the role of a person who needs to defuse a bomb, while other players have to tell him how to do it. The ticking clock and the fact that each bomb is generated randomly make the title even more difficult. The person tasked with defusing has to supply the other players with detailed information which will enable them to identify the type of the bomb they are currently dealing with.
Hatsune Miku: VR Future Live

An interactive concert developed for PlayStation VR. Hatsune Miku: VR Future Live was created by Japanese company Sega, known from the Project Diva series, which is the base of this production. During the concert, you can listen to 21 songs by the most famous digital performers, such as Hatsune Miku, Kagamine Ren and Rin, Megurine Luka, Meiko and Kaito. Before each performance, you decide the songs and where you want to be located: the general audience, the balconies, or even the stage.
SuperHyperCube

A minimalistic action logic game developed by independent studio Kokoromi which employs Phil Fish, the creator of the successful platform game Fez. The creators of SuperHyperCube were inspired by science-fiction movies from the 80s, such as Tron or Blade Runner. The gameplay employs virtual reality technology. The player is tasked with moving three-dimensional figures in such way that they fit the holes in the walls. The figures are quickly moving towards the player.

An arcade party game created specifically for PlayStation VR goggles. SportsBarVR allows the player to take part in one of seven types of competition having their origins in their game-room equivalents. Those include billiards, darts, air hockey, skeeball, chess, checkers, as well as bar demolition sessions with the use of bats, chairs or empty bottles. Each kind of in-game competition is based on the rules of its real-life equivalent.

A logic game inspired by the popular Lemmings series from the 1990s. Waddle Home was created by Archiact Interactive, specifically for VR goggles. The player assumes the role of an alien whose task is to lead a group of penguins through 3D levels filled with different traps, pits and other obstacles. In each of the 40 in-game levels, the player's goal is to set a route for their subordinates, who are constantly walking towards one direction and change it only when bumping into a wall.

A mix of first-person shooter with a tower defense game, developed by Japanese studio Oasis Games for PlayStation VR goggles. Players take control of an archer whose task is to protect crates of bananas from apes. The problem is the we must protect not one, but multiple bases, between which we can quickly switch, and enemies come with varying endurance and skills.
Pixel Gear

A first-person shooter created by Oasis Games for VR goggles; Pixel Gear was released exclusively for PlayStation 4. The game is set in a Gothic-inspired scenery and the graphics were based here on large voxels, which makes it resemble Minecraft. The player takes on the role of a gunslinger whose task is to eliminate the approaching enemies - those can be skeletons, ghosts, bats or bosses such as dragons.
Cyber Danganronpa VR

This is the first installment of a popular investigation-themed game series Danganronpa, recreated specifically for owners of the PlayStation VR sets; the franchise has been developed by Spike Chunsoft - a Japanese team. The player is taken to a mysterious school for the most outstanding students, which is governed by an electric teddybear called Monokuma. At the very beginning, the students find out that they've been imprisoned inside the school building.

A three-dimensional platformer game developed by the independent team at Psytec Games with VR headsets in mind. The gameplay, presented from the first-person perspective, focuses on exploring ancient ruins and cities — the player’s task is to reach an exit or a portal that takes us to the next location. We traverse increasingly complex levels on foot; however, the protagonist has a grappling hook at his disposal which allows him to jump between platforms that float in the air.

A horror with logical game elements, created by Chinese studio TianShe Media. The player assumes the role of a housemaid, who decides to solve the mystery behind the mysterious disappearance of the Victorian residence’s inhabitants. The gameplay in Weeping Doll is presented from a first person perspective, and focuses on exploration, searching for story clues and keys, and finally solving various riddles which involve object manipulation.

A horror game developed by the independent studio Wales Interactive, which was inspired by an urban legend of a demonic witch. The protagonist, searching for her lost daughter, is led to a grim mansion that hides a dark secret. In Don’t Knock Twice, the action is presented from the first-person perspective, while the gameplay is focused on exploration of the vast house in search of carefully hidden hints as well as fighting encountered opponents with the use of various items.

A logic game developed with VR headsets in mind by Schell Games, an American indie studio. In the game, we assume the role of a spy whose task is to escape unharmed from rooms riddled with traps. The action is presented from the first-person perspective, while the gameplay boils down to solving numerous escape-room kind of puzzles. While playing, we have to, for example, disable explosives or neutralize various kinds of traps. The protagonist’s telekinetic abilities will surely come in handy.

In the game the player assumes the role of a pilot of a small space ship and is tasked with exterminating hordes of Aliens and destroying meteorites. Player can choose from many levels and the game supports online scoreboards where users can compare their achievements. Since the title uses VR technology, the game modes known from previous installments were refreshed.

A game that recreates the first human spaceflight to the Moon using virtual reality. Apollo 11 VR shows the events preceding the historic journey, such as: launch of the Apollo 11 spaceship using a Saturn V rocket, the flight to the Earth’s natural satellite, or the landing and the first walk on its surface. The title is described as a new kind of documentary film, featuring only uncomplicated mechanics that fit more to virtual reality than a fully-fledged video game.

The game sees us man a powerful cannon, defending an oil platform against the enemies trying to destroy it. When it comes to mechanics, the game is a classic rail shooter – we are unable to control the movements of our character, the player can only look around.
