Ace Banana Description
Ace Banana is a combination of an FPS and tower defense, created by Oasis Games. The game is available on PS3 and it requires virtual reality goggles.
Mechanics
In Ace Banana, we become an archer, whose mission is to defend banana boxes against attacks of angry monkeys. The fact that we have to take care of the safety of not just one but several bases makes it difficult to accomplish the task - however, it is possible to switch between them instantly by pressing a single button and quickly aiming. We have to face several types of enemies, varying in terms of combat capabilities and the number of health points. We can collect power-ups between the waves - thanks to them, we have access to advanced types of arrows, such as exploding or splitting in the air.
We can freely look around the environment moving our heads, and control the character by using motion controllers - the hand holding the bow is used for targeting, and the other hand pulls out the arrows from the quiver and shoots.
Technical aspects
Ace Banana on PS4 is characterized by an eye-catching 3D graphics presented in a cartoon style and with a rich palette of colors. The title requires virtual reality goggles and dedicated motion controllers.
