100ft Robot Golf for PC and PS4 was created specifically for VR sets. The game was developed by No Goblin - a studio popular mainly for the arcady Roundabout.
Mechanics
100ft Robot Golf for PC and PS4 is an unconventional, arcady sports game aiming to cater to fans of golf. However, the gamers do not assume the roles of famous golf players here, who are normally playing subsequent matches in a traditional manner. Instead, the players are cast in the roles of pilots controlling powerful robots. Although the player's goal here is to place the ball in a hole that is located at a large distance, they are required to perform a series of different, crazy activities during the match. Since the machines mentioned are gigantic, elements of subsequent maps get damaged – for instance, when a robot runs into a skyscraper. The player can also hit a few times with a club belonging to another robot present on the map. The in-game golf courses do not have much in common with real-existing places created for such purposes - the golf matches here are played in the middle of a town, on the surface of the Moon or amid mountain peaks for instance.
Game modes
100ft Robot Golf offers several game modes. Apart from the singleplayer campaign, the player can compete against others either online or in the form of split-screen matches.
