I Expect You to Die Description
I Expect You To Die is an original logic game for PS4 and PC developed by Schell Games with VR headsets in mind.
Mechanics
In I Expect You To Die, the player assumes the role of a spy whose task is to escape trap rooms unharmed. The action is presented from the first-person perspective, while the gameplay boils down to solving numerous escape-room kind of puzzles. While playing, we have to, for example, disable explosives or neutralize all kinds of traps. The game is full of unique humor and references to classic action movies, especially those about the exploits of James Bond. Contrary to Agent 007, the hero of the said production has telekinetic abilities that let him perform his tasks easier.
Just like the title suggests, death is an integral part of the gameplay. At every stage, the protagonist can die in a variety of ways — either because of our carelessness or as a result of solving puzzles by trial and error. What’s interesting, the game doesn’t feature a checkpoint system. Every death requires us to start from scratch, although richer with knowledge and experience.
Technical aspects
I Expect You To Die for PS4 and PC features decent three-dimensional graphics. The production requires a VR headset in order to work.
