We traverse increasingly complex levels on foot; however, the protagonist has a grappling hook at his disposal which allows him to jump between platforms that float in the air.

Before each performance, you decide the songs and where you want to be located: the general audience, the balconies, or even the stage.

The player is tasked with moving three-dimensional figures in such way that they fit the holes in the walls. The figures are quickly moving towards the player.

The game is set in the alternative Middle Ages, where Scandinavia is inhabited not only by Vikings, but also by a forgotten race of sapient beasts. You play as one such creature, observing how it grows up into a ferocious predator. At first, Project Wight seems like a stealth game, as the beast is weak and cannot fight, so it has to sneak past enemies and hide in places humans are unable to reach.

The action is presented from the first-person perspective, while the gameplay boils down to solving numerous escape-room kind of puzzles. While playing, we have to, for example, disable explosives or neutralize various kinds of traps. The protagonist’s telekinetic abilities will surely come in handy.
