While playing Frostpunk 2, you might notice that the camera isn't functioning well. Thus, it may affect the gameplay experience. But can this be changed? On this page of the guide, we explain what camera sensitivity is and what you can do about it.
Camera sensitivity
Unfortunately, at the moment, you won't find any options in the settings to change the sensitivity of the camera. However, you must bear in mind that this is only a beta version of the game and not everything is available. So it's possible that this option will appear in the full release.
Why might camera sensitivity be a problem?
The in-game camera is very sensitive to any movements you make. This means that the rotation often continues for a while after you release the mouse button. This is especially noticeable during more sudden movements. If you want to view the city from a particular angle, you will need to be precise.
Another problem with the camera is the change in distance. Coming back to the city after visiting the world map can be challenging, and at times, you might find yourself lost in the desolate areas. Furthermore, because of the maximum zoom restriction, it's not possible to get a closer view of the buildings in the city.
