Frostpunk 2: Guide Contents

The first part of the guide consists of basics, describing the most important game mechanics. First and foremost, you will find here tips and tricks, which will help you get through the initial stages of the game more easily. We also explain what are the game modes, difficulty levels and how building and economy work in the game. We also suggest what consequences important choices have, what are the best laws and how the idea tree works.

The second part of the guide is the FAQ section. Here you will find out, among other things, whether it is possible to change the camera sensitivity and how to solve the problem with DirectX. In the guide you will also find tips for each chapter of the game. As we go through the various stages of the campaign, we suggest how to survive the first whiteout, how to reach and colonize Winterhome, and how to end the civil war.

Frostpunk 2: Tips and tricks

1. Always be doing something and make use of the pause - time is extremely valuable, so always use it.
2. Save the game often - the consequences of your mistakes may not become apparent until many hours later.
3. Expand districts - expanded districts can contain more deposits and can house buildings.
4. Discover new technologies - your research institutes should always be working on the next project, starting a new one the moment the previous one is completed.
5. Negotiate before voting - a promise you make may buy you a few votes needed to push through the desired bill.

Frostpunk 2: Walkthrough

1. Prologue - The initial part of the second installment of the series is more difficult than it may seem. In the guide we described how to establish a settlement and what decision to make when making your first important choice.
2. Chapter 1 - on this page you will learn how to start the generator and how to gain oil.
3. Chapter 2 - in the next part of the game you have to prepare for a blizzard. We advise you how to improve the generator.
4. Chapter 3 - after surviving the blizzard, you must find the ruins of Winterhome, which hold the key to your survival.
5. Chapter 4 - we explain how to complete the main objective in Winterhome before the ruins are gassed.
6. Chapter 5 - the final challenge in the campaign is to stop the factions from destroying the city from within.
