Death From Above | Main Quests Far Cry 4 Guide
Last update: 11 May 2016
The next quest for Willis. At the beginning your main task is to use the overalls you have received to get to the area where you are needed. Jump from the edge and slightly guide your character while soaring instead of just diving in. It will allow you to easily get where you want to be.
When you will get to this area you need to use the grappling hook and get to the escarpment on your left. Once you are on the top go ahead of you. After a while you will notice two soldiers who are removing the snow here. You can kill them but an easier way is to distract them by throwing a rock. Pass the guards and jump down from a little edge right behind them. Now you can move through the stairs.
On your left you will find a small chapel. The lieutenant you are looking for will be nearby. You may just hide here and highlight all the surrounding enemies to find your target. He is moving with a group of guards.
When you will find your target make an ambush somewhere on his path. Remember that to kill him you have to use a knife. You may succeed in one of two ways: with a takedown or by throwing a knife at him. Eventually you may also just cut him to his death if you will be detected for some reason. Right now you may just ignore the other enemies. Kill the lieutenant as fast as you can and when you will finish make him photo just as quick. Now run away from this area. You may also try to sneak behind two wandering soldiers and just takedown them both at the same time or one after another instantly.
After the successful assassination attempt get to the marked edge and jump down again. While you are soaring you should not just dive but try to turn to avoid the rocks instead. Beware of the helicopter. To avoid him you can only dive. The biggest problem is the last defile since without difficult diving you won't make it. Try to aim the hole between the rocks perfectly and lower your height. In the end open the parachute and land next to the plane to finish this mission.
