Initially, you have in your inventory only a simple pistol and a knife, however, you will soon encounter enemies quite resistant to the damage you inflict upon them. Thus, consider acquiring the Sawed-Off Shotgun - you can do this in Chapter 3.

The location of the building leading to the place where the Sawed-off Shotgun is hidden.

Firstly, go to the building located to the north from the first hideout (the location is indicated in the picture above). Go through consecutive rooms until you reach the storage room - inside, there is a trap door leading to the underground tunnels. Down there, you will find a computer - interact with it to start loading, and then again to go to The Marrow - Armory.

There is a dangerous opponent next to the elevators.

After you get to the other side, collect all the items and go through the door. Continue along the only available route, until you reach the room with the elevators. Here, you have to be careful, as there is a mutated woman, who is difficult to defeat. It is a beast to sneak up on her, attack her by surprise and kill her with 1-2 shots from up close.

The door with the sound puzzle.

Continue forward, enter another room and go through the hole in the wall. Upon entering the corridor, kill stealthily the only enemy there, and enter another room. There are two exits - the first door open after you shoot the fuse box with an Electric Bolt (this will shorten your return. The second exit requires you to solve a sound puzzle. Set the green wave to overlap with the red one - on the screen, you can adjust the amplitude and frequency of the wave. These puzzles require you to practice, however, with time, they become very easy. Adjust the wave and press the indicated button to activate the switch and go through the door.

Finally, the Sawed-Off Shotgun.

Here, you can find several items to collect and crates to loot - in one of them, there is the Sawed-Off Shotgun you are looking for. This weapon deals more damage than a pistol, however, it requires you to come closer to an enemy. Take the item and go back - be careful, as the elevators will open and releasing several monsters.
