After completing the tutorial in EVE Online, you will have the opportunity to talk to Career Agents who can assign you different missions and familiarize you with certain types of gameplay.
Doing the missions will give you rewards (ISK, items, skill books), so we encourage you to go through all possible career paths.
Business Career Path
Business Career Path mission chain in EVE Online is called Balancing the Books and it consists of 10 tasks in which you will have to extract ore, recover materials, hack, as well as act as an intermediary to deliver items to agents located in different systems.
Exploration Career Path
Exploration Career Path mission chain in EVE Online is called Cosmic Anomalies and it consists of 5 tasks. In this path, you will learn how to use the scanning interfaces. Scanning allows you to locate, e.g. Wormholes and other players' ships.
Industry Career Path
Industry Career Path mission chain in EVE Online is called Making Mountains of Molehills and it consists of 10 quests. This career path focuses on extracting raw materials, making modules, cargo (ammunition), and ships.
Military Career Path
EVE Online has two military career path agents - Regular Military Agent and Advanced Military Agent.
- Regular Military Agent: this chain of missions consists of 10 tasks, thanks to which you will learn the basics of PvE combat (Player vs Environment);
- Advanced Military Agent: this mission chain also consists of 10 tasks, from which you will learn the basic concepts of PvP battles (Player vs Player).
Your ship gets destroyed twice during the Advanced Military Agent chain of missions (tasks 2 and 5). Before you start the next quest, carefully read its description and make sure that you left all the valuable items at the station.
