The first big chapter focuses on the basics of EVE Online. This chapter opens with the beginner's guide. The tips listed here should be useful to all MMO beginners. EVE Online: Quick beginner's guide
- Factions: EVE Online has 4 main factions. Choose the one that best suits your preferences as each of them can achieve the same goals;
- Creating a character: options available in the character creator in EVE Online matters only if you care for role-playing aspects;
- Tutorial: if this is your first contact with EVE Online, you should check out the tutorial where you can learn the basics of the gameplay, learn useful information, and obtain additional rewards;
- Stations: not all the stations you encounter in the game have repair facilities;
- Agencies: they offer additional activities (missions) in New Eden. The Agent determines the objectives of the mission and the reward for completing it, for example, extracting a certain amount of ore;
- Corporations: in EVE Online, there are many corporations that are controlled by players and offer many benefits in exchange for loyalty. You can join one of them if you want.
- Market: before you decide to purchase an item on the market, make sure that you do not have to pass through a low-security area while traveling to pick up the purchased item;
- Making money: in EVE Online, the player can perform various tasks to earn ISK, the main currency of the New Eden. Beginners can try their hand at mining, scan outer space in search of Data and Relics or perform not very complex PvE missions - the threat when performing such tasks is small.
