DRAGON BALL Z KAKAROT REVIEW

You can find our Dragon Ball Z Kakarot review here.

Remember the time when at the beginning of the century you were running home or visited friends to watch several episodes of Dragon Ball on Cartoon Network? It was so engaging that it become a daily habit to many. Yes, I know that you were among those fans. There is a generation of viewers who have been reared on the anime made by Akira Toriyama – in US, Europe and especially in Japan. Actually, Son Goku became an official ambassador of Tokio 2020 Summer Olympics, because he is such a unique and memorable character. And finally, he lived to see a game focused on his adventures, not just on pure combat. Let's be honest, fights and duels have become the creme de la creme of this popular anime series – so they have to be present in the game, at least at some point.

For me, Dragon Ball hasn't been just a brutal fighting series, but also an adventure. And the developers of CyberConnect2 apparently figured it out too. In Kakarot you take control of the title protagonist of our generation – Son Goku. He's a devoted warrior, a master of the martial arts, who strains at the leash to take part in every upcoming battle. In this game, you can not only replay (or rather recreate) the events known from manga and anime series, but also learn some new facts about Saiyan's life.

Saiyans come from the Vegeta planet. The name reminds a vegetable. No wonder. The name of the species itself is an anagram of the word "yasai", which means "vegetables".

Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot was announced as a combination of light action-RPG and beat'em up. This means that we will explore the vast world that was born in Akira Toriyama's imagination. In other words, we will discover a lot of collectibles, get to know many inhabitants and also engage in spectacular duels worthy of the series. Enthusiasts of Goku and his friends adventures should keep this production in mind.

Loves Baldur's Gate 2, but when he sees Unreal Tournament, Doom, or a good race game, the inner child wakes up. In love with sheds and thrash metal. Since 2012, has been playing and creating live action role-playing, both within the framework of the Bialystok Larp Club Zywia, and commercial ventures in the style of Witcher School.
