We seem to know a lot about this game, but in fact it remains a great unknown. A great or rather a slightly narcotic unknown. Soaked in the same acid, which prompted all these bizarre things, which later warped the adolescent minds due to the Teenage Ninja Turtles or Street Sharks (yes, there was a cartoon about humanoid-shark bikers). The only thing that softens our rafting along the current of the teenage madness is the influence of Kung Fu Panda. We're all going to die.
Biomutant is an expedition to a fascinating apocalyptic universe, where mainly machines and anthropomorphic animals have endured. The latter are trying to cope and survive in a colorful, though unpleasant reality. As if that wasn't enough, they can fight like Jack Black's panda named Po. Just like Jackie Chan or Tommy Lee Jones in The Fugitive. I'm sorry, I got a little too far this time, but this game has something incredibly interesting and ridiculous about it.
We will visit a vast, sandbox-like land, maintained in beautiful, fairy-tale colors. The atmosphere of a twisted fairy tale will be emphasized by a storyteller. The voice of the narrator will contextually give meaning to our actions. It looks like a further development of the idea used in the Bastion. In addition to that, the game will offer spectacular battles, stunts, puzzles and quests. I wonder how it will play along with such a fancy setting and visual style.
